Aquiline Takes to the London Skyline
September is always an important month for design lovers, but this year we had more than just London Design Festival to get us excited. Following the heart-warming welcome from the interiors world we experienced at Decorex, on the 26th September the Gestalt team joined forces with handmade wallcovering design house Fromental to take over the 32nd floor of Brutalist landmark Centre Point.
Located almost on top of Tottenham Court Road station, Centre Point is one of London’s most famous examples of Brutalist architecture and recently underwent a mammoth redevelopment. Constructed between 1963 and 1966, the building was designed by George Marsh of the architects R. Seifert and Partners and is a jaw-dropping 117 metres tall.
Fusing the flawless beauty of meticulously designed wallcoverings and the versatility of our debut collection Aquiline — together with Fromental, Molteni and support from Dyptique — the event saw journalists, designers and industry experts from across the country join us in a celebration of handcrafted design and the breathtaking beauty of a London sunset.
The full Aquiline collection is available now and can be explored and ordered from our online shop. If you’re interested in setting up a trade account you can do so here, while our general contact details can be found here.
